JAMMU, July 4: Former MLC, Ch. Vikram Randhawa, today kick-started black-topping of a road at Parveen Colony in Trikuta Nagar here.
Speaking on the occasion Randhawa said, it was a long pending demand of the locals there which was brought to his notice and was accordingly taken up with PWD authorities.
He said, after due follow up the work has finally started today giving a sigh of relief to the locals who were facing many hardships as there were potholes on the road.
Randhawa further said that BJP government led by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is committed to develop all hamlets of the country.
He said ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’ slogan is being implemented on ground which has ushered an era of development particularly in Gandhi Nagar assembly segment.
Randhawa sought public support in making Gandhi Nagar neat, clean and green.
He expressed gratitude to PWD authorities in ensuring blacktopping of the road on priority.
Those who were present on the occasion were Satya Pal Gupta, Dinesh Gupta, Rajiv Gupta, Sandeep Gupta, Sanjay Gupta, Naresh Gupta, Kuldeep Gupta and JMC Councillor, Ajay Gupta.
