JAMMU, Dec 21: In line with the Bharatiya Janata Party’s commitment to the development and welfare of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, Vikram Randhawa, MLA from Bahu constituency today inaugurated the construction work of lane and drain at Ward No. 46, Sanjay Nagar.
The project, with an estimated cost of Rs 37 lakh, is a significant step towards enhancing the infrastructure in the area and improving the living standards of the residents.
Speaking on the occasion, Vikram Randhawa emphasized that this project reflects the BJP-led Government’s vision of providing better civic amenities and ensuring a cleaner and a safer environment for the people. He said, “This project is not just about improving infrastructure, but about building a better future for the people of Jammu. Under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, we are committed to transforming Jammu and Kashmir with modern infrastructure, development and progress.”
The senior BJP leader asserted that the development project aims to address long-standing issues of drainage and connectivity in the region, which will greatly benefit the residents of Sanjay Nagar and surrounding areas. It is expected to ease the daily challenges faced by the locals while contributing to the overall beautification and development of the area, he added.
Vikram Randhawa reiterated that this initiative is part of the ongoing efforts by the BJP to bring about a transformative change in Jammu and Kashmir, underpinned by development, prosperity, and better quality of life for every citizen.
“Every step we take is towards fulfilling the promise of progress that BJP has made to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. This project is a part of our broader vision to uplift the infrastructure and empower local communities,” he added.
Later, Vikram Randhawa interacted with the people of the area and listened to their issues with keen attention. He assured them that their concerns would be addressed promptly and reiterated his commitment to working tirelessly for the development and welfare of the Bahu constituency.
