JAMMU, Mar 9: Former MLC Ch. Vikram Randhawa kick started construction work of deep drain at Dashmesh Nagar, Ward No-58 of Gandhi Nagar Assembly segment along with Mahant Manjit Singh and Tirath Kour Councillor of the area.
The corona pandemic has brought the world to a standstill but notwithstanding the development in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir is going on in full swing, said Randhawa while addressing the gathering. He said that that it was the long pending demand of the local residents as the lane was in dilapidated condition. He said that Corporator, Tirath Kour has played a key role in highlighting the genuine issues of the people following which the matter was taken up with the JMC authorities and the work has finally been started today.
He further said that BJP is committed to implementing the ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas Sabka Vishwas’ slogan, given by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, in letter and spirit. He said that the best way to win the trust of the people is to address their genuine demands including basic facilities. “For this BJP has launched a public outreach program on the insistence of the national party president, JP Nadda which is yielding results”, Randhawa added.
He assured the people that all their other genuine demands would be taken up with the appropriate authorities for early redressal.
They expressed their gratitude to the former MLC for ensuring early redressal to their genuine long pending demand in a time-bound manner. They also extended support to the BJP in the coming future.
