JAMMU, Oct 16: The seven-day Saptah at Aap Shambu Temple in Satwari culminated here today with a grand ceremony attended by a large gathering of devotees.
On this occasion, senior BJP leader and MLA Bahu Constituency, Vikram Randhawa was chief guest.
In his address, Randhawa emphasized the importance of maintaining cultural traditions and highlighted the role of religious gatherings in promoting social harmony. “Events like Saptah not only strengthen our spiritual connections but also enhance the sense of community,” he maintained underscoring the principles of Sanatan Dharama.
The BJP leader talked about the teachings of Bhagavad Gita and urged the gathering to follow these in life.
He appealed for maintaining communal harmony and encouraged everyone to foster an environment of mutual respect and understanding for everyone, which is vital for sustaining the rich cultural fabric of Jammu.
The concluding ceremony was marked by a special prayer and the distribution of Prasad to all the attendees. The temple committee expressed heartfelt appreciation to MLA Randhawa for his continuous support and involvement in promoting local initiatives.
