Randhawa tours border villages in RS Pura

JAMMU, Sept 25: Member Legislative Council (MLC), Ch. Vikram Randhawa, today toured border villages falling under Jinder Melu Panchayat in R.S Pura Assembly Segment.
MLC was informed by the residents of the area about their miseries and sufferings. The locals urged him to visit every nook and corner to assess their problems to which Randhawa agreed upon. He visited each and every area of all the villages in the Panchayat and took stock of the problems of the people being faced by them.
After culminating his tour to the Panchayat, Randhawa addressed a gathering at village Raipur Gujraan. While addressing the people, he said that he is shocked to see the dilapidated condition of the lanes and drains. The tangling wires are endangering the innocent and precious human lives. He said that it seems that the Panchayat is still under pre-independence era.
The locals demanded construction of lanes and drains particularly the lane leading to the Cremation Ground in the area.
Randhawa assured the people that soon after the culmination of the ensuing election process to the Municipality followed by Panchayats the work on the same would be started.
The locals appreciated the visit of the MLC and assured him of all possible support in the coming future.
Those who were present on the occasion include Seema Devi Bhagat, Dayal Singh, Harbans Singh, Lambardar Bawa Ditta, Chowkidar Des Raj, Milkhi Ram, Santhokh Singh, Ajaat Singh, Radha Devi, Darshan Lal and others.
