JAMMU, Mar 1: Former Legislator and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, Vikram Randhawa under public outreach programme visited Upper Mahakali Nagar in RS Pura-Jammu South Assembly segment.
During his visit, the former Legislators listened to the grievance of the people and also discussed various issues pertaining to the development of the area.
The residents apprised the visiting leaders about the problems being faced by them due to non availability of direct road connectivity to their area.
“We are facing manifold problems due to non availability of direct road connectivity to our area. We have to cover a long distance to reach our area” the residents said and demanded construction of bridge over nallah”.
Some other issues of the areas were also raised by the residents.
Former Legislator after hearing the issues raised by the residents assured them of redressing them in a phased manner.
He also assured the people of getting the bridge over nallah constructed through concerned authorities so that people have some sigh of relief.
“BJP under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is working on the theme of ‘Sabka Sath Sabka Vikaas’ and is committed for the overall development of Jammu”, Randhawa said, adding that no ward will be deprived of basic amenities and development of every citizen is their main motto.
“Public outreach programme has been launched by me to reach every nook and corner vis every booth of RS Pura, Jammu South Assembly Segment to listen and redress the grievances of the people”, Randhawa said.
“BJP is working to mitigate problems of the people and give them respite from miseries which they are facing in the last over 70 years”, he said, adding that Central dispensation has provided surplus funds for the development works across the Union Territory and that is the reason behind irresistible development trail going on in Jammu and Kashmir.
Vijay Sharma, Mandal president, Amrik Singh, Harbachan Singh, Gurdeep Singh, Manmohan Singh, Kuldeep Singh, Gurjeet Singh and many others were present on the occasion.
