JAMMU, Oct 15: The newly elected MLA of Bahu constituency, Vikram Randhawa, conducted inspection in Ward No 21 to address the pressing issues faced by local residents due to the overflowing of Nallah during rains.
Accompanied by Executive Engineers, Assistant Executive Engineers (AEE), and Junior Engineers (JE), Randhawa raised serious concern over the problems being faced by people of the Ward due to Nallah flooding during the rains, with water entering their homes and disrupting daily life. He directed the accompanying officials to expedite the construction of the Nallah, emphasizing that the project should be completed promptly to prevent further inconvenience to the public. He said that the construction of a robust drainage system to prevent rainwater from flooding residential areas, ensuring the safety and convenience of the people.
“It is imperative that before initiating any construction work, the concerns of the local community are heard, and their suggestions are taken into consideration. People must feel secure, and that can only happen when they are involved in the decision-making process,” the senior BJP leader said.
He highlighted his unwavering commitment to the development and well-being of the Bahu constituency, reflecting the larger vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, which emphasizes rapid infrastructure growth and improving the quality of life for every citizen.
MLA Randhawa assured the people of the area that their concerns would always be prioritized, and no stone would be left unturned to resolve their genuine development issues.
