Randhir demands deportation of Rohingyas

JAMMU, Apr 8: Former Minister Thakur Randhir Singh today expressed support for fresh audit of Rohingya migrants settled in Jammu and Kashmir and demanded their deportation, stating that they are threat to the internal security of UT.
Singh said many Rohingyas settled in Jammu have attended the Tablighi Jamat Congregation at New Delhi. He said no doubt J&K police is working very hard to trace these anti-national but many of these Rohingyas are still hiding their identity.
He demanded NIA investigation against those officials and political leaders who just for the sake of some votes managed the state subjects, Aadhar cards and ration cards of these Rohingyas.
Further, welcoming the stringent provisions which have been forced to regulate the establishment and functioning of brick kilns in the UT of J&K particularly in district Kathua, Singh said in village Dabwal of Kathua district, illegal brick kilns have become a nuisance for a orchard growers and paddy growers.
