JAMMU, Apr 26: Former Minister Thakur Randhir Singh was unanimously re-elected as State president of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP).
His name was announced by Krishan Kumar Digra, chairman, State election authority, which was appointed by the Central election authority of NCP, New Delhi.
Later, the newly elected president announced Prof Gulam Mohd Pal as senior vice-president, Krishan Kumar Digra, Gulab Chand Bhagat, Satpal Sharma, Dr Liaquat Ali Magray and F R Javed as vice- presidents, R S Billowaria, Sandeep Manhas, Bansi Lal Sodhi, Des Raj Raina and V K Atri as general secretary, Abhimanyu Pratap Singh Jamwal as provincial president, Jammu province and Zahid Bashir as provincial president, Kashmir province.
Dr DC Bassan and Amit Singh Datta were nominated as general secretary, Jammu province, Tandeep Singh as chairman Minorities cell and general secretary, Jammu province, Kuldip Singh, State secretary, Ch Dev Raj as chairman Kissan Sabha, RC Bali as chairman NCP Sewa Dal, Col Amar Singh as chairman Ex-Servicemen Cell, B K Wali as chairman, Migrant Cell, S C Sehgal as State publicity secretary, Rattan Chand Digra as chairman SC/ST/OBC Cell.
The new president announced that extended working {committee will be announced along with chairmen of various cells of the party, shortly.
