JAMMU, Aug 1: Ranjeet Gupta was today installed as president of Rotary Club Akhnoor in a function held at Akhnoor.
The function was presided over by MLA Akhnoor, Rajeev Sharma, as chief guest. More than 100 guests including Rotary families from Rotary Club Akhnoor and presidents from Rotary Clubs of Jammu City, Jammu Tawi, Jammu Aastha and other prominent citizens of Akhnoor also attended the function.
The chief guest installed Ranjeet Gupta as president of Rotary Club Akhnoor by shifting of president collar along with Assistant Governor of District 3070, Sumil Goyal.
The outgoing president, Ashish Mahajan in his address, highlighted the main goals of the Rotary International, which has 12.5 lakh members and more than 34,000 Rotary Clubs in 200 countries.
