JAMMU, Apr 16: One of the four people who sustained burn injuries after a stranded bus caught fire in Ransoo area of Reasi District on April 12, 2023, succumbed to his injuries here at Government Medical College Jammu today, police said.
They said Ram Prakash (56) son of Dina Nath of Katra, along with three other people identified as Kamal Singh son of Chain Singh of Meyari, Katra, Romal Singh son of Chatter Singh of Railway Road, Katra, and Mohinder Kumar son of Babu Ram of Railway Road, Katra, was rushed to Government Medical College Jammu on April 12 after he sustained burn injuries due to a bus catching the fire.
“Ram Prakash didn’t respond to the treatment today at around 9:10 am,” police said, adding that the body of the deceased has been shifted to the mortuary of the hospital for conducting the post-mortem while a case under relevant sections of the law already stands registered at the concerned police station.
