POONCH, June 18: The police today claimed to have arrested a rape accused who was evading arrest for the last about seven months.
A police spokesman said that accused Ghulam Abbas, son of Qadeer Hussain Chouadhary, resident of Baila village in Mandi was wanted by Mandi police in case FIR No. 105/ 2018 under sections 376, 342 RPC. He had gone underground and was evading his arrest.
On specific information, a police party from Mandi nabbed him today from Mandi area. He was produced in the court.
