REASI, June 16: Arnas Police arrested a rape accused, who had gone underground after commission of heinous crime in June 2017.
The accused was identified as Manish Thakur, son of Tirath Ram of Chassana Mahore district Reasi. He had raped a 17-year-old girl on June 3, 2017 and was arrested from Kangra area of Himachal Pradesh.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 53/2017 under Sections 452, 376 and 506 RPC with Police Station Chassana.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
