KATRA, Oct 29: In a rare gesture, the GRP Katra team returned the costly electronic gadgets and cash to the owner, which it recovered from Katra Railway Station today.
The GRP men during patrol recovered a bag containing a Laptop, a costly Samsung Mobile Phone, Rs 8000 cash and some clothes. They reported the matter to SSP, RS Sambyal. After long struggle, the GRP men managed to trace the owners and handed over the cash and bag to them. They were identified as Bhinava Ram Jat, son of Kana Ram from Nai Kothi Isra Walla, Jaipur and and Sunil Thakur from Battal near Majalta. Bothe persons lauded the act of honesty of GRP men at Katra.
