JAMMU, June 4: In a rare act of honesty, Canteen boy in State Bank of India (SBI), Karan Nagar branch has returned lost jewellery worth Rs 2 lakh to the owner.
Mohinder Kumar, the Canteen Boy, spotted the jewellery, which had been left by the locker operator.
After proper verifications, the Canteen Boy in presence of Bank staff returned the jewellery to S. Charanjit Singh, president, Wine Shop Traders Association.
Extending gratitude to the Canteen Boy, Charanjit Singh gave him Rs 11,000 cash reward for rare honesty.
