JAMMU, May 29: Displaying rare act of honesty, a minibus conductor returned the purse of a passenger who had lost the same while travelling in the vehicle a day earlier.
The said minibus conductor, namely Pritam Singh, not only returned the purse that contained valuable items and cash but also refused to accept any reward for his rare act of honesty.
According to Jagmohan Sharma, who works as announcer in Radio Kashmir Jammu and had lost the purse in the Talab-Tillo route minibus, Pritam Singh appeared very excited on being approached as he was already looking for the owner to return the purse.
Pritam Singh also refused to accept any reward for displaying such rare act of honesty and said that he was simply performing his duty to humanity.
