Rashid to represent India at G20 Youth Summit

JAMMU, Apr 1 : Dr Abdul Rashid Choudhary, son of the soil and young leader of Congress party will represent India at the G20 World Youth Summit 2013 being held in the Russian city of St Petersburg, from April 17 to 21, 3013.
Rashid along with five other young leaders from various fields including industry, science, non-profit organisations and politics, have been selected through a rigorous phase wise process to represent India at this prestigious platform.
The delegates shall be pushing forward the policies adopted by the Government of India on various issues related to the world peace, economic situation, global climate change and international political scenario.
Besides India’s national emblem, Dr Rashid has decided to put on the logos of Earth Foundation International and Indian Youth Congress as his affiliations during the Summit.
Dr Rashid will be speaking on the topics “Science Diplomacy”. He will also lead the Indian delegation during the talks on the Global climate vision 2020.
The delegation will also visit St Petersburg State University for a three-day exchange visit and sharing of ideas, where Rashid will deliver his lecture on the topic ‘Biodiplomacy: The way ahead’.
