JAMMU, Oct 31: A rashly driven truck damaged a car and electric pole in Talab Tillo area.
As per police sources, during the intervening night of October 30 and 31, 2021, a rashly driven truck bearing registration number JK02AN-5637 fell on a Swift car bearing registration number JK02BG-8052 owned by Narinder Sharma at Talab Tillo Chowk thereby damaging the car totally.
The truck driver also damaged an electric pole at the same site and later fled from the spot, leaving behind the vehicle.
On getting information, police cops rushed to the spot and took the truck into their custody. No injury or casualty has been reported in the incident.
However, a case FIR Number 168/2021 under Sections 279, 427 and 3 Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act has been registered at Police Station Nowabad and hunt has been launched to nab the truck driver.
