JAMMU, June 20: A general body meeting of NHPC Employees Union was held here today at NHPC Regional Office in Narwal under the chairmanship of Puran Singh Sarotia.
All the members of Union participated in the meeting wherein after threadbare deliberations Rashpal Singh Jamwal was elected as Union President.
A handout stated that Jiwan Singh was elected as General Secretary and Sunil Sahi as Cashier of the Union unanimously.
The elected body resolved that steps will be taken to safeguard the issues of NHPC employees with the management which arise from time to time so that employees’ concerns can be mitigated.
The meeting concluded with vote of thanks by Mohinder Singh Sarotia.
