Rashpaul led OBC delegation calls on Dr Jitendra Singh

NEW DELHI, Dec 18: An amalgam of deputations of OBC organizations headed by Rashpaul Verma ex Vice Chairperson and national secretary, BJP OBC Morcha called on Union MoS in PMO, Dr Jitendra Singh and complimented him for his efforts in changing the nomenclature of OSC into OBC in Jammu & Kashmir, which was a hurdle and long pending demand of OBCs of the UT.
Deputation briefed Dr Jitendra Singh about the burning issues, which included deletion of clause “Rural only” cited against four castes viz, Kumhar, Barber, Telli and Dhobi. Deputation shared that, action in this regard has already been initiated by the J&K Government and also been forwarded to the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment Department, New Delhi on 24/10/23 for updation and necessary action.
Dr. Jitendra Singh assured the visiting team of all possible help in this issue for its early resolution.
Later, all the representatives of OBC organizations complimented the BJP Government led by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Dr Jitendra Singh in addressing the long pending issue of three decades of OBCs of Jammu and Kashmir.
The deputation besides Rashpaul Verma included Balwant Kataria, Kewal Krishan Fottra, F C Sattia, Hans Raj Janghged, Gang Din Janged, Suresh Janged and others.
