Rashpaul Verma was informed by locals that the unprovoked continuous firing by the Pakistan Army has played havoc with their lives. Not only their lives have been disturbed, but they also have suffered huge losses in terms of finances, crops, livestocks and even human lives from time to time. They told that this time too their houses have suffered extensive damages due to the heavy firing by Pakistan Army. They stressed that this is not mere a single episode of firing to be taken on regular terms, but the extent of firing can be gauged from the fact that some houses have received at least one dozen bullets. Even local temple has clear marks of more than two dozen bullets fired upon. All the overhead water storage tanks have been damaged around the villages. The community bunkers are flooded with water thus rendering them unfit for taking shelter during time of heavy firing or shelling by the Pakistani side to save their lives, they added.
They also put various demands in front of Rashpaul which included increasing mobile towers in area to improve connectivity, improving health facilities in the area with provision of night time operational health centres, improving road connectivity especially Chakra to Mini Pansar and so on.
Rashpaul assured the villagers that their all demands will be taken with the appropriate authorities along with the party command for their prompt perusal.
