JAMMU, Nov 8: The Rashtriya Gaurav Yatra which started on November 5 from historical Shankaracharya foothills in Srinagar left for it’s onwards sojourn from Ram Mandir, Purani Mandi temple here this morning.
The Rashtriya Gaurav Yatra from Kashmir to Ram Janambhoomi, Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh is led by Awdoot Narmadanand Bapji Omkareshwar Jyotarlingam Madhya Pradesh (MP). The yatra reached Jeewan Nagar Jammu after covering a distance of seven kilometers and it will have a night stay at Hirdeya Nand Giri Ji Maharaj Ashram, Jeewan Nagar. On reaching the Ashram it was warmly received by Ashram inmates and prominent people of the area led by Hirdeya Nand Giri Ji Maharaj.
Tomorrow early in the morning the Padh yatra will proceed towards Samba where from next day it will leave for Lakhanpur in Kathua district. The 75 -days long Rashtriya Gaurav Padh Yatra will touch Punjab, Haryana and Delhi before reaching Ayodhya on January 15 next year.
Awdoot Narmadanand Bapji said that it is a coincidence that when the country is celebrating 75th Azadi Ka Amrit Mohotsav, the yatra will also be of 75 days and it will touch 75 cities, towns and villages besides reciting the names of 75 martyrs who made supreme sacrifice in freedom movement of the country.
He said during every night the Satsangh will be held highlighting the significance of cow (Gou Mata) and Sanatan Dharma. In the morning the yatra will leave for next destination, he added.
He said situation is now changing and India is emerging as world leader. The main objective of this Padh yatra is that people of this country should join hands for the development and progress of the nation, he added.
