JAMMU, Mar 24: A Rashtriya Sewa Sammelan was held her at Bhagwati Nagar Ashram of Sant Shri Asaram Bapu on Wednesday.
Many Sants participated in the Sammelan. Prominent among those were Ganga Dhar Ji Maharaj, Phool Kumar Shastri Ji, Mahant Madho Dass Ji Maharaj and Sadhvi Ganga Devi Ji.
Sadhak Parivar present in large number availed the opportunity of listening to the sermons on Srimad Bhagwad Gita from these prominent figures.
Speaking on the occasion, Swami Ganga Dhar threw light on the contributions and sacrifices of Pujya Bapu Ji towards the Hindu Sanskriti Known for bringing ‘Adhayatmic revolution’ among millions of people. He transferred the lives of all those who had lost all hopes of survival in this world -by initiating “Diksha”to them.
Ganga Dhar ji highlighted the concept of “Gurutav” by citing various parsangs from Srimad Bhagwad Gita. He cited many illustrations to persuade the significance of Guru-Shishya relationship, adding that today’s disciple is most selfish and not sincere and loyal to his Guru (leaving exceptions).
Speaking in the Sammelan, Babloo Shastri said, “None can be compassionate and liberal as Sant Shri Asaram Bapu, adding it is his holiness, who connected at least 5 crores dissipated and forsaken people with the God.
Phool Kumar Shastri and Pankaj Shastri also spoke at length about the contributions of Bapu ji for the well being of his disciples. Lastly, Sadhvi Ganga Devi also threw light on the Bhagti Marg and devotion to Lord Krishna.
The Sammelan ended with serving Langer Prasad to the devotees.
