JAMMU, Feb 1: Akhil Bhartiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh delegation, led by President Rattan Sharma and General Secretary Gulshan Raina, today called on Commissioner Secretary School Education, Dr Piyush Singla in his office at Civil Secretariat Jammu.
The delegation members apprised Dr Single about the issues like departmental promotions, regularization of Incharge Teachers and routine transfers of teaching fraternity of School Education Department.
They demanded immediate release of promotion lists of Teachers to Masters at an earliest before the code of conduct comes into force. The delegation also demanded DPC of Teachers/Masters as Lecturers in various disciplines. They also demanded regularization of Incharge Teachers promoted in 2018.
The delegation also demanded review of Zonation in some districts keeping in view the relief structure of the districts. Delegation further urged Commissioner Secretary to start annual transfer drive in this year also as many Teachers were posted at different places from more than nine years.
Moreover, delegation members also discussed issues related to reforms in Education Department as per National Education Policy-2020 to further strengthen the education system.
The Commissioner Secretary Education, after giving patient hearing to the delegation, assured early redressal of the issues.
The other members of delegation included Neeraj(State Additional Gen Secretary), Sanjeev Dutta (State Secretary), Rahul (State Secretary), Pawan Sharma (State Media Prabhari), Rakesh (Executive Member) and Ved (District Gen Secretary Jammu).
