JAMMU, Apr 26: In order to know the status of under construction Toll Plaza at Lakhanpur, Minister for Finance Abdul Rahim Rather convened a high-level meeting of officers, here today.
Mr. Rather after complete appraisal of the project expressed satisfaction over the progress achieved till date. He directed the concerned officers to further speed up the pace of work of important project to make it operational at the earliest. He directed for removing bottlenecks, if any, in the way of project.
The meeting was informed that the work on Toll Plaza is in full swing and all out efforts will be made to complete project within the stipulated time frame.
Principal Secretary Finance, Mohammad Iqbal Khandey, Commissioner/Secretary Revenue, B.A.Runyal, Commissioner Commercial Taxes, Gazanfer Hussain, Excise Commissioner, Vineeta Gupta, Additional Commissioner, Jammu R.K. Bhagat, Secretary Law, G.H. Tantrey, Deputy Commissioner, Kathua Zahida Khan, Special Secretary Finance, Onkar Nath, Deputy Commissioner Excise, Lakhanpur Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed, DC Commercial Taxes, Lakhanpur Ashish Gupta, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kathua J.S.Manhas were present in the meeting.
