UDHAMPUR, Sept 22: BJP senior leader from Jaipur Rajasthan, Ratna Kumari Shahpura has appealed people of Ramnagar to cast their vote in favour of BJP candidate, Sunil Bhardwaj.
Addressing meetings of women self help groups in the various villages of the constituency, she highlighted various initiatives taken by Narendra Modi Government for the welfare of women.
She said, Modi Government deserves credit for empowering women by granting 33 percent reservation to them in legislature and Parliament. This was a landmark step by BJP Government while earlier Governments sabotaged the move during their rule as they were never interested in empowering women. She said Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao, Sukanya and other schemes were also initiated for the welfare of the women to provide them equal opportunities for progress.
Ratna Kumari said Narendra Modi Government restored the rights of women of J&K on their parental property who were married outside the erstwhile State which too is a revolutionary decision. She said now it is the turn of women of the UT to strengthen PM Modi by casting their vote in favour of his party candidates in J&K.
