JAMMU, May 5: Senior National Conference (NC) leader and Provincial President of the Party Rattan Lal Gupta today stated that the support for the INDI Alliance has surged in the Anantnag-Rajouri Parliamentary Constituency.
After conducting a four-day visit of the Rajouri District, Gupta highlighted the enthusiastic response to INDI Alliance candidate Mian Altaf Ahmed during recent public meetings in Kotranka and Thannamandi, Rajouri.
The senior NC leader emphasized the commitment of the Alliance to addressing the needs and aspirations of the Jammu and Kashmir populace at national level.
He also pointed out the BJP’s absence in the valley’s constituencies as a sign of their recognition of defeat.
According to Gupta, the National Conference is dedicated to the welfare, unemployment issues, and development of the people in Jammu and Kashmir.
He underlined the party’s ongoing commitment to democracy, the Constitution of India, and equal justice.
The NC Provincial President urged locals to support Dr Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah, as well as the National Conference candidates in the Kashmir valley – Omar Abdullah in Baramulla, Aga Syed Ruhullah in Srinagar, and Mian Altaf Ahmed in Anantnag – Rajouri – during the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
He stressed that supporting the National Conference is the best option for the residents of Jammu and Kashmir, highlighting their role in promoting the region’s interests at the national level.
