JAMMU, Sept 17: Shree Guru Ravi Dass Sabha, Bahu Fort has extended support to the ongoing protest demonstration of all Jammu based reserved category employees serving in Kashmir who are demanding a suitable comprehensive transfer policy.
In a press conference here today Sham Lal Basson, general secretary of Shree Guru Ravi Dass Sabha, Bahu Fort expressed grief on the selective and targeted killing of Rajni Bala, a school teacher in Kulgam and other non-local minorities in Kashmir.
He said that the committee constituted by the Lt. Governor to examine the issues of Jammu based reserved category employees working in Kashmir has not submitted its recommendations so far.
Basson said that Shree Shree 108 Swami Gurdip Giri Ji Maharaj, Dera Swami Jagat Giri, Pathankot; Shree Guru Ravi Dass S.S Trusts/Societies J&K and All J&K Guru Ravi Dass Sabhas are with and in support of all Jammu based reserved category employees serving in Kashmir in all respects.
He urged PM Modi and Lt. Governor, Manoj Sinha to consider the genuine demands of protesting employees and frame a suitable comprehensive transfer policy at an earliest.
Prof. Chaman Lal Shivgotra (Rtd) also spoke on the occasion.
Prominent members of Sabha present on the occasion were C.L Banal, Kesar Singh, Ramesh Chander and others.
