Ravinder for security post, VDC in Narla area

KALAKOTE, Sept 17: Ravinder Sharma Ex MLC and Chief Spokesperson JKPCC today claimed that there is sense of insecurity amongst people in areas of recent encounter in Narla, Sagwali and other remote area of Kalakote.
Senior Congress leader during his visit to the remote areas of Narla-Sagwali in Kalakote, met the villagers of the area, which witnessed recent encounter resulting into elimination of two terrorists and martyrdom of an Army jawan and injuries to three other jawans including a cop.
Sharma also met with Prem Lal Sharma who was in terrorists’ captivity for over three hours and later informed the army, and listened to the whole sequence of events leading to the elimination of terrorists.
The villagers complained that no senior police and civil officers visited them so far and neither strengthened the village defence. They urged the LG administration to strengthen the village defense mechanism in vulnerable areas of Kalakote especially in Narla, Sagwali Gala area of the recent encounter, immediately by deployment of an army/ security post besides supply of modern weapons to save their lives.
Cong leader demanded immediate strengthening of village defense in the area besides other vulnerable areas of Kalakote and other parts of Rajouri Poonch.
Naseer Ahmed Panch, Madan Lal, Krishan Lal, Kuldeep Kumar and Gulshan Kumar also accompanied the Congress leader.
