JAMMU, June 20: Continuing with the drive to ensure availability of wholesome food to the consumer at large, a team of the Food Safety Officers including Daleep Singh & Rakesh Kumar Gupta under the supervision of Sanjeev Kumar, Assistant. Controller Food ,(MLJ) , Drugs & Food Control Organization, J&K, Jammu carried out inspections of Fruit shops, Restaurant, Cake Houses, Ice cream shops etc. in Gole Market Gandhi Nagar Jammu.
During inspections Spoiled/decomposed raw meat, chutney, Prepared meat, Cake etc were destroyed on spot to stop their further use by the consumers at large A challan against Arabian club, Aquaf Market, Gandhi Nagar for unhygienic and insanitary condition will be filed before the competent Authority in due course of time. All the Food Business operators have been advised not to add Monosodium Glutamate and colour in the food articles in violation to the FSS Act.
