JAMMU, Jan 12: Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) Bipin Rawat and Northern Command chief Lt Gen YK Joshi today met Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha here and discussed with him prevailing situation on the Line of Control (LoC) as well as hinterland.
Earlier, Rawat reached here from Ladakh where he had gone yesterday to review situation in Eastern Ladakh due to military standoff with China.
Rawat was received here by Major General VB Nair, GOC Tiger Division and Air Commander AS Pathania, AOC Air Force Station Jammu.
Rawat and Joshi briefed the Lieutenant Governor about various aspects of the situation prevailing on LoC with Pakistan and anti-militancy operations in Jammu and Kashmir especially in the Valley.
