JAMMU, May 31: Contractors Association of PWD (R&B) have expressed serious concern over blocking of funds for a prestigious project of Cluster University in Jammu on which work was started with big fanfare and huge promises of development.
The association members expressed the view that the said project looks like a joke due to non-seriousness of the authorities concerned. The contractors said they have already invested a huge amount on these projects and besides the contractors were paying amount as interest on bank loans.
They have sought personal intervention of the Chief Minister so that this project was put on rails, as the contractors have already stopped the work due to non-release of funds.
