KARGIL, May 29: Deputy Commissioner Kargil today placed an official of the R&B Division Kargil under suspension for carrying Mobile phone to the examination centre and uploading its video on the social media.
Official sources said that Dy Commissioner Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve suspended Draftsman, Zehra Batool Wazir of R&B Division Kargil, who was deployed as invigilator at Goodwill School, Harka Bahadur School, Kharool for Matric level LAHDC-KSSRB Examination on May 28. Batool carried Mobile Phone in the examination centre despite clear instructions issued by the DC and the concerned Superintendant of the Exam Centre. Moreover , the official made the video of the said exam and also uploaded the same on the social media.
The District administration taking serious note of the conduct of the official, after watching CCTV footage of the exam centre, placed Zehra Batool under suspension and attached her to the office of SE, R&B Kargil. A three member committee was also constituted to hold detailed inquiry into the matter and fix responsibility on the official.
