R&B restores connectivity to vast population

JAMMU, Feb 28: Roads and Building Department today restored road connectivity to huge population in Surankote tehsil by getting bailley bridge installed within a short span of three months.
The earlier bridge near Dhundak in Surankote tehsil was damaged during the floods last year and due to this road connectivity for huge population had been snapped.
“Keeping in view the inconvenience being faced by the people, we brought bailley bridge parts from Kolkata and the bridge having two spans of 40 meter each was installed within a short duration of three months”, R&B Chief Engineer, Sheikh Hameed told EXCELSIOR.
He said that with the construction of this bridge population of vast area has received permanent connectivity.
