RBPS releases Chuni Lal Sharma’s book ‘Prakash Path’

JAMMU, Nov 9: ‘Prakash Path’, a book written by Chuni Lal Sharma was released by Rashtra Bhasha Prachar Samiti (RBPS) in a function organised here today.
Padmashri Dr. Jitendra Udhampuri was chief guest on the occasion. whereas Prof. Lalit Magotra, President Dogri Sanstha Jammu presided over the function and Dr Aravinder ‘Amn’ former additional secretary J & K Academy of art, culture and languages was guest of honour.
The program started with Prof. Bharat Bhushan Sharma, secretary RBPS Jammu giving an account of the activities of organisation.
While extending his warm wishes to the author, he said that the prime objective of the organization is to provide platform to writers to come up with their innovations in literary field.
Dr. Jitendra Udhampuri in his address said that Chuni Lal Sharma’s dedication and devotion towards his professional career as a broadcaster is an example for others.
“He is a thorough gentleman and his writing skills are evident from his literary works,” he said.
Prof. Lalit Magotra said that Chuni Lal Sharma is an eminent broadcaster and has helped many writers to showcase their potential on Akashwani Jammu.
“He is a very good Hindi and Dogri writer and it’s commendable that he has been contributing regularly,” he added.
Dr. Arvinder ‘Amn’ also congratulated the writer for his new book having thought provoking articles.
The author Chuni Lal Sharma also shared his literary journey with the audience and said that he had always tried to pen down such things which may be beneficial for the society.
Among others who graced the event were Sanjiv Bhasin, Anjana Badyal, Madhvi and Sunita Bhadwal.
