RCJT adopts park from Jammu Municipal Corporation

JAMMU, July 2: In a move towards community development and environmental stewardship, the Rotary Club Jammu Tawi (RCJT) today officially adopted a local park from the Jammu Municipal Corporation.
This initiative was led by the club’s President, Rtn Ramneek Singh, and Immediate Past District Governor (IPDG) Dr. Dushyant Chaudhary.
Rtn Ramneek Singh expressed his gratitude towards the Jammu Municipal Corporation for their cooperation and support.
“We are deeply thankful to Rahul Yadav, Commissioner, JMC, Chand Singh, Secretary JMC, Dr Rabia Bano Khan, Assistant Floriculture Officer, Amarjeet Singh, Sr Garden Assistant and all the officials involved in making this adoption a reality. This collaboration is a testament to our shared commitment to enhancing green spaces and improving the quality of life for our community,” he stated.
The Rotary Club Jammu Tawi aims to transform the park into a vibrant community space, promoting environmental sustainability and providing a recreational area for residents.
The club plans to undertake various activities, including planting trees, installing benches, and organizing community events.
IPDG Dr. Dushyant Chaudhary highlighted the importance of such initiatives, emphasizing the Rotary Club’s dedication to service above self.
“This park adoption aligns perfectly with our mission to serve the community. We look forward to working closely with the Jammu Municipal Corporation and local residents to create a welcoming and eco-friendly environment,” he remarked.
