UDHAMPUR, Apr 17: ARTO Udhampur has suspended registration certificate of 14 vehicles, which were allegedly involved in bovine smuggling.
Besides registration of FIRs in the cases wherein drivers were arrested and vehicles involved in bovine smuggling were seized, a detailed report regarding involvement of drivers/vehicles was also prepared and sent to concerned ARTOs for the suspension of their Registration Certificates for their involvement in crime related to cruelty to animals.
Consequently, on the initiative taken by Udhampur Police ARTO Udhampur has suspended the registration certificate of 14 vehicles.
