RDA, Kranti Dal announce support to AIIMS Coordination Committee

JAMMU, June 17: Resident Doctors Association (RDA) and Kranti Dal today supported the 72-hour band call given by AIIMS Coordination Committee, in Jammu.
In a meeting of the Association which was attended by general secretary, RDA, Dr Akhil Gupta, joint secretary, RDA, Dr Waseem Chouhan, secretary, Dr Sonali, senior member, Dr Pawan, the speakers announced their support for the opening of AIIMS hospital in Jammu.
Dr Akhil Gupta said that the need of AIIMS is more in Jammu as compared to Kashmir as far as the geography and topography of Jammu region is concerned. He said that there is SKIMS Soura in Srinagar which is equivalent to AIIMS regarding health services but there is no such hospital in Jammu region.
Meanwhile, Kranti Dal also supported the 72-hour band call given by AIIMS Coordination Committee. However, the party said that since summer vacation are on and it is the time when the pilgrims from all over India are on high to the Holy City of Temples, so AIIMS Coordination Committee should ensure that the pilgrims visiting Jammu should be provided proper convenience so that their visit to the Holy Cave of Mata Vaishno Devi concludes safely.
