KATHUA, Dec 28: An employee of Rural Development Department (RDD) was killed, when the motorcycle he was driving was hit by a car near Kota area, falling under the jurisdiction of Hiranagar police station.
The deceased has been identified as Kundan Lal, son of Ved Parkash, a resident of village Kota. His body has been shifted to hospital for postmortem, which will be conducted tomorrow.
The car driver namely Jai Parkash of Chandigarh has been arrested.
Hiranagar police has taken cognizance in this regard.
