UDHAMPUR, Jan 24: J&K Rural Development Society (RDS) organised a function here, today under the chairmanship of Sat Paul Sharma, chairman of the Society for Udhampur district.
Former Speaker and MLA Eidgah, Mubarak Gul who is the chairman of the Society was the chief guest on the occasion while former Minister, Ram Paul who is the vice chairman of the Society was the guest of honour.
Addressing the function they said that all those works will be taken into hand by the society, which are useful of the upliftment of the people.
In his address Mubarak Gul said that RDS is doing a wonderful job. He expressed the hope that the society will flourish under the guidance of Sat Paul Sharma. He presented a detailed road map to achieve the target fixed by the Society.
Ram Paul also detailed about the works taken into hand. Ram Parshotam Sharma and Yash Paul Gupta were also inducted in the Society as provincial chairmen.
Besides, the District Committee was also re-organised and S Surinder Singh was nominated as district vice chairman and John Wilson as chief organizer, Rakesh Khajuria as organizer , Bushan Kumar as office secretary and Surinder Kumar as stage secretary.
