JAMMU, Mar 1: Senior Supreme Court lawyer and president JKNPP, Prof Bhim Singh today urged upon the Prime minister, Narendra Modi to save J&K from ” non- functional administration ” and issue urgent instructions to the Advisors, Chief Secretary and DGP for resolving urgent issues of common masses in the remote, hilly terrains, besides regular re- engagement of disengaged SPOs numbering over 10,000.
Talking to media-persons here today, the NPP leader reiterated that instead of opening new avenues for employment of educated, skilled youth of the two UTs, fully trained virtual police constables, men/women are entrenched and services of thousands of daily wagers working in different departments are in doldrums. Every responsible officer in the administration is playing tyrant over resolving burning problems of unemployment of educated, technically trained youth, he added.
Prof Singh lamented that the Central Government has utterly failed to address issues of unemployment, industrial sector and horticultural industry. They only made fake promises.
He lauded L-G Manoj Sinha for his keen interest to provide justice to every deserving member of the erstwhile State.
Prof Singh was accompanied by P K Ganju senior vice president, Anita Thakur general secretary, Sewa Singh Bali and Neeraj Deewan general secretaries- PTU.
