DODA, Jan 1: A readymade shop was completely gutted in a fire incident at Batri in tehsil Kahara, last night.
Official sources said that some locals noticed a shop located at Batri in flames and raised alarm, following which a large number of people gathered there and started operation to douse flames.
Meanwhile, Fire and Emergency Department sleuths also reached the spot but till then, the shop was completely reduced to ashes. However, no loss of life and injury was reported in the fire incident. As per the reports, the gutted shop belonged to a man namely Manzoor Ahmed, resident of Batri.
Gandoh Police had taken cognizance of the matter and the loss of property was being assessed.
