This is in reference to the Daily Excelsior Column ‘Budget Announcements Vs Reality.’
The esteemed paper has done it once again. After running successfully the ‘MLA Report Card’ Column, it is not turn of the Budget announcement Vs Reality’ column.
If the previous column made readers aware of the performance of their elected representatives, the present one has brought fourth the achievements of PDP-BJP coalition Government during the last 10 months of their tenure. It has reminded the people of the promises the Government made in the Assembly and how far it lived by them.
The column will keep the legislators or tenterhooks, it will not allow them the luxury of making lofty promises for welfare of people but will force them to fulfill them.
The series should be continued in the future as well. The reporters also deserve kudos.
