RAMBAN, Sept 16: The body of Harpreet Singh who was washed away by the river Chenab along with his sister Amandeep Kour after their Alto car met an accident at Ramban on September 8 was fished away from waters of the river by Reasi Police today.
The body was handed over to his family members for last rites by the police. However there is still no clue of the body of Amandeep Kour.
The alto car in which the family of Harpreet a resident of Model Town Digiana, Jammu was traveling met an accident at Jammu -Srinagar National Highway at Ramban on September 8. While the Harpreet and his sister fell down in the river Chenab and were washed away by strong current of water, their parents Karan Singh and his wife Satwinder Kour were injured in the accident.
