JAMMU, Oct 26: What was the matter of speculation became a known fact after the Youth Congress high command issued show cause notices to PYC office bearers for creating indiscipline in the organization.
National secretary of the All India Youth Congress and incharge J&K affairs, Chetan Chouhan today issued show cause notices to PYC vice-president Pranav Shagotra, state general secretaries R S Pathania, Rashid Choudhary, Manjit Singh Jatt, Abid Kashmiri and State secretary Rajveer Singh Manhas.
“We want your attention towards the media reports on 24-10-2013 the high performer and performer list of Jammu & Kashmir. As you are aware that you can raise your objections to the in charge but instead you went to the media and caused damage to our organization beyond measure. The above mentioned activities are a clear case for Disciplinary Action and have caused damage to our organization beyond measure,” said the show cause notices seeking reply within 5 days to explain why a disciplinary action should not be taken against them.
Pertinent to mention here that these PYC office bearers on last Wednesday had circulated copies of a resolution labeling allegations of favouritism against the incumbent State president Shahnawaz Choudhary in preparing the annual report of high performers and performers in the State unit of Youth Congress.
