KATHUA, Aug 30: The District Development Commissioner Kathua Zahida Parveen Khan today reviewed the arrangements for two day Red Cross Mela scheduled to be held on October 5 at a meeting of Executive Committee members of the District Red Cross Society.
The meeting discussed the arrangements in detail and decided to held the 2 day event at the Government Degree College for Women, Kathua .
DDC Zahida Khan called upon the officers to work in coordination to make Mela a grand success. She also exhorted upon the committee members to include the events that depict cultural and social ethos, besides creating awareness about health, hygiene and various Government Department schemes.
Among others Assistant Commissioner( Rev) Kathua Punneet Sharma, Tehsildar (T) Kathua Jatinder Mishra, CEO, Kathua, GM DIC Kathua, Dr Hardev Gupta, Principal Degree College for Women, Sohan Lal Bhagat, EO MC, Kathua, Executive Secretary Red Cross, Kathua Ashish Singh, Sudershan Gupta, R.K Gupta were also present in the meeting.
