JAMMU, July 29: To provide proper health care facility at the door step, Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu region, organized a medical / eye check-up camp at Jagat Resort, Shakti Nagar, here today.
In the camp, large number of patients of Shakti Nagar, Shiv Nagar, Shanti Nagar Rajpura Magotria, Bakshi Nagar areas of Jammu (general/eye) were examined by a team of Red Cross Doctors, including Dr Ranbhushan Singh (Sr Anaesthetist Consultant) and Dr Kavita Nijhon (Medical Office, Red Cross Dispensary, Jammu) assisted by Anil Kumar, Sr Opth. Asstt and Kanchan Devi, Sup. Pharmacist. Free medicines were also provided to the poor patients.
R C Puri, Hony Secretary, while speaking on the occasion, said that Red Cross will organize such type of camps at various location of Jammu city, especially in slum areas in near future.
Prominent among others, who were present in the camp, included Sita Ram Sharma and Dinesh Gupta.
