JAMMU, Dec 9: Reiterating his promise to made Gandhi Nagar a perfect city in entire Jammu and Kashmir, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate from Gandhi Nagar constituency, Amrik Singh Reen, today appealed voters to vote for PDP to see their dreams come true.
Interacting with people of different localities including Nanak Nagar, Preet Nagar, Douangian Bathindi, and Chatha, Reen said a perspective planning is the need of the hour so as to transform Gandhi Nagar into a perfect city which Reen claimed to be his personal objective if he is voted to power.
“I don’t believe in making false promises with the public like other political parties in the lust of gaining power are doing by luring voters with different polices especially through money. I have an agenda for the constituency, I have a rational approach to transform Gandhi Nagar into a modern city like other established cities of the country”, Reen said. “The ruling MLA who remained a Minister in the Coalition Government never highlighted basic issues of the constituency owing to his limited approach but always remained on the fore fronts to paste his large sized hoardings to befool the voters”, said Reen.
He said PDP has entered into the electoral arena with sole agenda of improving facilities and ensuring corruption free fast track development. For this purpose, perspective planning is imperative for an urban constituency like Gandhi Nagar, he said and hoped that the people will appreciate the necessity of such initiatives and come in large numbers to vote for PDP.
“I’ll be available 24 hours a day unlike the incumbent MLA to help the masses whenever I’ll be approached for addressing their grievances as I am doing now to end up the gap between a leader and pubic which is not an affair in the Coalition Government”, Reen added.
Reen was accompanied by Surjeet Kour, Rashpal Billoria, Ch Shamsher Singh, Harmeet Singh, Varinder Singh Sonu and others.
