KOLKATA: Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma has been reprimanded by the match referee for showing excessive, obvious disappointment with one of the field umpire’s decision on the night that witnessed MI defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 4 wickets at home on Sunday.
Rohit Sharma admitted to the Level 1 offence 2.1.5 of the IPL Code of Conduct for Players and Team Officials at Wankhede Stadium. For Level 1 breaches of the IPL Code of Conduct, the Match Referee’s decision is final and binding.
Mumbai Indians emerged victorious while chasing a challenging total of 179 runs against Kolkata Knight Riders.
