NEW DELHI, May 2: Refined soya oil prices declined by 0.50 per cent to Rs 691.25 per 10 kg in futures trading today, taking weak cues from spot markets.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in June declined by Rs 3.45, or 0.50 per cent to Rs 691.25 per 10 kg with an open interest of 1,30,120 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in May edged lower by Re one, or 0.14 per cent to Rs 712.40 per 10 kg in 75,340 lots.
Analysts said offloading of positions by speculators due to lower demand in the spot market against higher supplies from producing regions mainly influenced refined soya oil prices at futures trade. (PTI)
